Welcome to the electrifying world of Kaleyo where each beat narrates a story and every drop embarks on a journey! I'm really looking forward to introduce you into my world of music which is inspired by bigroom, techno rhythms and all time trance classics.
I am performing and producing under my alias 'Kaleyo' based out of Zurich, Switzerland.
Looking a bit back...
I first got in touch with music when I started to play an instrument as a child. Back in 2009, when I was 18 years old after seeing Tiesto for the first time, I started DJing and found a true passion when I bought my first set of Pioneer CDJs. During the first years, I became a regular guest at events organised by friends in and around Zurich. In 2012, I decided to go a bit more professional and took part in a DJ contest in one of Zurich's most famous clubs called "Kaufleuten", where we had to compete in rounds against each other with DJ sets during peak time. It was a small step at this time but winning against an established DJ with Ibiza residencies made me really confident and confirmed the skills I have.
However, at this time I also focussed on my university degree and had to make a step back. What never changed was my passion for electronic music, more specifically in progressive house, trance and techno and I still played at a lot of smaller events and parties through the years next to studying. Having built a solid professional work career, I will now definitely invest more time again into creating my own music and establish a brand!
And that's about to become real!
My dream is to establish myself in this inspiring business and see others listening to my music while dancing and smiling all over their faces, perform all the stages from intimate clubs to festival main stages and inspire others with my music. What makes me unique is that I'm not just playing tracks, but always creating a journey full of unforgettable moments that resonate with audiences around the globe. It was, is and will always be about the music.
What music does Kaleyo stand for?
I haven't uploaded many mixtapes by now and that's why it might be still a bit hard to get a picture of me. If you work with me, you'll get a mix of Techno, 'Mainstage' and Trance inspired sounds. For example: I'm a huge fan of the music of Maddix, Hardwell, Cosmic Gate, Armin van Buuren, Maarten de Jong, W&W, Charlotte de Witte, Jorn van Deynhoven, Blasterjaxx, KAAZE and so on.
